MegaCD development?

I know this is probably blasphemy to be mentioned on this forum! but I am wondering if there's anyone on this forum who either does themselves or knows anyone who does MegaCD development. I've had a hard time finding proper documentation on using the 68k gcc that's included with the neodev/m68k package (I've only ever used an assembler for this stuff, but it's a pain in the ass and frankly I wanna be able to just use straight C, like we do in HuC!). Anyone got any good leads? google has been mostly useless thus far...

The reason I ask is because I am toying with the idea of a couple of cross-platform titles, MegaCD/PCE Duo.

That link didn't seem to offer much... :( Looks like they're just selling games...unless I'm missing something?

It'd be sick if you guys put your talents into hacking some Jap games like Nightwolve did.  There's so many tight RPGs for the PCE Duo that we'll never get to play over here.

Eidolon's Inn covers some very basic assembly, which I already know. :( The hardware docs are somewhat useful but a bit sparse. It also doesn't look like they've updated in ages...

I contacted cdoty last night and got a response this morning. He's the only one I know that's developed a game for the MegaCD using the neodev package. Unfortunately, he didn't give a lot of information either, and his site says you need to actually purchase his game to get the sourcecode so that's out for now (while $19.99 is certainly not very much to pay for a game, the idea of paying that much for access to sourcecode is a lil crazy imo...).

So I guess I'm back to square two (yeah, square two...cdoty's site at least explained the hellish process for putting together an image so I don't have to go all the way back to square one at least).

Ah, well, I don't know much about them, but if you click on publishing, there is a  list of games they make for classic systems, most of which are Sega CD games.

You'd figure there would be some sort of homebrew developement scene for the sega\mega CD as its popularity in the emu/iso scene is pretty high these past two years.
