Has anyone already scanned the game boxes?

I have a number of game boxes that were stored in an attic for decades and the glue that holds the seam together has failed.  Since I can lay them out flat now would be the best time to scan them if someone else has not already done it.  Any thoughts?  Some sparky repro boxes would be awesome....

I'm all for scans.  I've scanned quite a few of my own boxes, but the quality of some is pretty bleh.

Here is the first one I scanned.  Unfortunately, the attic took it's toll on most of my boxes so they are not in the greatest shape.  I do think they could be cleaned up though.

I have about 20 more that are flattened out, 4 that are still "box shaped" and 5 that are still un-accounted for.

Very cool!  I looked at a couple but didn't want to go through them all and waste your bandwidth at 10M a pop.  Do you know what the actual dimensions are when they're laid out flat like this?

I don't have the exact dimensions on me but they will fit on an 11x17 (B sized) sheet of paper.  I'll check one of them tonight.

I have ~40 boxes, probably.

I would gladly support a scan project.

I prefer to clean up scans and host them.

But, if I had rare game (I probably don't), I would certainly scan it.

They measure 9.25" x 13.50"

The Wayback Machine is your friend.  I am a big Working Designs fan and use it to dig through their old stuff since the server bit the dust.  The site used frames so it is hard to hotlink to specific sections but I found some pages you might like.

The only problem is they aren't full box scans like jelloslug has, and they're much lower quality IMHO.

yeah I've also been using WD wayback for reference on TCP covers, we use manual scans for the covers btw unless you use the older template those use box scans I think.

It's to bad not all of those WD boxes show up also its nice to see the spines and stuff, great references and archive. thanks for the scans.

Hmm that other stuff section is interesting and confirms Keith Courage is most likely in the adventure genre.
