Can somebody explain why Musha's so price-y?  It looks like a pretty okay top down shooter but nothing spectacular.  Just a low print run?

General consensus is that it's a good game, an earlier shooter with a smaller print run, and ever since a couple YouTube folks reviewed several years ago the price has been spiking upward.  Kind of a victim of its own popularity causing it to continually rise like Magical Chase. I'd like to own it, but I doubt I will ever pay the asking price now, thankfully I already have a fair number of Genesis games I like, the Mega Everdrive will probably keep me busy for awhile now.

Genesis DOES!

QuackShot - did anyone mention that one yet?

Taz-mania is also a fun platformer. Decent challenge at times.

Musha was fine and all, but Spriggan and Robo-Aleste were in general, just better.

I thought Robo-Aleste was pretty tame in comparison to MUSHA Aleste, but man you are GOD DAMN RIGHT Spriggan is better. :)

Hmm...I'm surprised with all the repeated games that the only ones repeated from my list has been Alien Storm, M.U.S.H.A., and Monster World IV.  I would just like to add again...

I didn't care too much for Verytex. Just too many other vertical shooters on the Genesis/megadrive that surpass it. I know Verytex has its fans though, in much the same way Darwin 4081 does.

Darwin 4081 has fans?  Haha, that was one shooter I couldn't get into.  Yeah, Verytex is just a typical shooter, but I always felt it was put together really well.   To me it's the Override of Mega Drive shooters if that makes any sense.  I've also had the game since 92 so maybe I was a little more wowed at the time.  I still play it and love it though.  It is way on the easy side though.

Very true.  But you also don't expect as much in 92.  By then I already had most shooters for the system.  I walked into a local store that had it.  It was used for $10.  It was in great condition and I was always willing to buy another shooter, and since I went in knowing nothing I was really surprised.  Yes the music was a huge part as to why I like the game.  It can really make or break a shooter for me.  That is a huge reason I can't stand Eliminate Down.  Pretty game,  but that music makes my ears bleed.

that's why I so much love the PCE  for its shewties.  there's almost non that has bad musics, and if it has bad musics, then it's a baddie from begin with.
