Dat E3 thread
« on: June 13, 2014, 04:19:35 AM »
I was not all into the hype this year but there were a few things that caught my eye.

Nintendo being Nintendo did a great job with their stuff. Looks like they remembered once again that they are a toy company. Wish there was more 3rd party stuff on the system, but that's what the other consoles are for. I actually want a Wii U now.

I'm still on the fence with next Gen, however the PS4 seems to have some great things going for it. I really liked the way Batman and Mortal Kombat X looked.

The indie titles are all over the place and that's pretty great.

Didn't pay attention to Microsofts stuff.

I was just about to start an E3 thread, surprised one hadn't been done yet.

From what I watched the highlight was the new Zelda, seriously considering getting a Wii U for that game.

The Wii U had some great looking games. I like that Splatoon game, finally and FPS that I can play with my kiddos.

Nintendo def had a great showing. Splatoon looks great, but its a 3rd person shooter not a FPS. The new Yoshi game is shaping up nicely. Love the fact that Bayonetta 1 will come with Bayonetta 2.

The only thing that interested me is Sony's announcement of the Vita TV coming to the US.  More Ys and Lego games for me!
U.S. Collection: 98% complete    157/161 titles

I caught a quick glimpse, but didn't read the news about it. Will have to take a look.

E3 resulted in me pre-ordering 4 things, so I guess the advertisment worked:

Playstation TV
Sunset Overdrive
Smash Bros. w/ GC Controller
Destiny (PS4)

Some other cool stuff was shown, as I now will likely be buying Hyrule Warriors, Mortal Kombat X, and on the fence about a few other games.
