« on: February 16, 2015, 09:46:32 AM »
Picked this up with a bunch of games a while back, never seen hu-cards like this before.

I've seen a few cards that have some girth like sf2 but damn that's a fatty. As far as i know both pce and tg16 hucards were flat for that game. I'm sure others will chime in shortly with a more definitive answer though.

Now that, to me at least, is a WAY cool find!!! I didn't know about those.

I'd love to know what's underneath that cover ... presumably a standard-sized masked rom, but it could be just an eprom if they were doing small runs of the bootleg.

I've GOT to find one of those for my little collection.  :-k

Follow the link provided above and you can see the innards of similarly built 1943 and Soldier Blade booties.

Doh! Silly me, I looked at the page, but didn't click on the games themselves to go further in!

So, various type of cards ... usually eprom, but also a few with multiple chips and scratched-up rom/flash/whatever. Fun!  :)

Now if somebody would make a Tennokoe bank card with either a removable battery cover like seen above or a flash chip inside... I would instantly marry that person.

They tried to make me do a recap
I said no, no, no

I'm about to get a bank card in the mail (someday)  What do they look like inside? Can a coin battery clip fit if trimmed, I wonder?

This card looks pretty neat. I didnt know there were hubootlegs

King-size condom

Some of the booties are made by King, so that's fitting (so to speak).
