I've a JP version of this along with the Hori Beretta GunCon, and can definitely add fuel to the 'this game is freaking amazing' fire! Good luck to everyone!

Hory sheet, I did not know that the Beretta GunCon was a thing.  I need to find one nao!

I actually own the game but nice of you to share. I bought it just to support Working Designs at the time, as I did for my other favorite companies. It's still in new, unused condition and funny thing, I totally missed the detail that you need some light gun by Namco - I never bought that! I take it it doesn't have a gamepad-only mode ?? Anyway, the packaging sure is beautiful - like the reflective artwork.

Nice raffle, Jeff! Please throw my name into the hat.  The only gun game I've got for the PS1 is Project Horned Owl and I've heard nothing but good things about EG.

I have seen this disc in person, and can attest to it's looseness.

nullity: according to Wikipedia, it is backwards compatible with the PS2 slim. You're added.

Nightwolve: I had to refer to Gamefaqs on that one - apparently you *can* play it with a control pad. But that's dumb :)

Ah OK, cause it looks untouched, but I thought I played it that way. I can't really remember... :/ Since I brought it out of storage, maybe I'll mess with it when I get a chance soon and see if I can remember anything.

This thread caused me to bust my copy of it out, then the sad realization hit me that my RGB cable for Playstation doesn't have a composite port on it to actually hook up the guncon. Had to do it with svideo.

Please include me in the raffle. I actually have all the inserts for this game and I've been looking for a loose copy for a long time. Also F.Y.I the guncon's video pass through plug will work on the green wire of ps2 component cables. My wife and I love to play gun games together.

That's interesting about the gun wanting a video feed to operate.

The Guncon plugs in to the composite video jack. If you're using a video source without composite like my cheap SCART cable then you're SOL.

You're not completely SOL

This is actually what I use, my TV back in the day only had a cable jack so I needed to use this plus an RF adapter on the back.  Looking back, I should have known better but I didn't.
