Cool if it just passed through RGB I already have the parts to do that for less cost. Cool idea tho, I think I like the idea of an enclosure that the PCB could rest on while using. What video encoder are you using this with?

Looks good so far. I helped my friend build one a couple months ago and he wanted everything possible for it so it was a lot of wiring but in the end it looks great and has just about every kind of video out option

I just have standoffs on the supergun, and have them screwed into a piece of plywood that I cut (and plan on painting).  I wouldn't want to just have the thing (and the PCB) all loosey-goosey, but the wood makes a nice platform for the PCB to sit on.

I don't use a video encoder.  PVMs 4 lyfe.

Edit: The two nice things about the supergun are the voltage readout (let's you use an adjustable power supply) and the video intensity adjustment knob.  I've noticed that the video levels from some PCB are stronger than others.  And some PCBs definitely suck more juice than others.

I love my vogatek, it plays my mvs games nicely. :) Still need to create a enclosure for it though along with my mvs board.

OK update pic, jamma slot installed, plexi installed on front of case. Power supply is in there and secure, and added a power light for the front.

Goal is something that looks like a component found in your entertainment center and also can rest the arcade PCB on top (I will have a non conductive surface on the top).

It used to be a direct TV satellite box. Still got more work to go but coming along. The rectangular hole at the top for example won't be visible.

It's looking awesome. Some people pay almost $200 just for cases for their superguns lol. I like recycling old electronics too for this kind  of stuff.

Yeah the old DVR is from 2005, so recycled instead of junked.

Made some progress, metal case takes a while to work on lol

All the jacks and plugs are cutout, just need to wire everything up now.

I was looking at that broken glass + shredded yak hair, too. I didn't want to be rude, but I assumed the worst.
