Ahem yes I know this is an old thread but SuperGrafx did you trade in your original xbone for the new one?
I did it purely on the purpose that it ran on less power but it's quite a bit smaller too. They have removed the kinect connection at the back but if you have one, plus you have the serial of the original xbox one, the serial for your kinect and the new xbox one S. MS for a limited time will send you out a kinect adaptor for free.
If you have a 4k TV with HDR (and you needthen the xboneS will make use of that with the built in UHD player. But also if you are looking for UHD player I think the XboneS is the cheapest as of now.
The new xboneS controller feels great and the d-pad is much better for fighting games.
