Yeah it's looks like it's an incredible technical achievement.
But whether it's actually fun to play as a game we'll have to wait and see.

I'm not saying they can't do it, but rather that what's on people's imagination will have so many differences from the actual game itself (if it gets released) it will disappoint a lot of people. Procedural generation!

edit: I mean look at the level of detail suggested:
Quote
The team programmed some of the physics for aesthetic reasons. For instance, Duncan insisted on permitting moons to orbit closer to their planets than Newtonian physics would allow. When he desired the possibility of green skies, the team had to redesign the periodic table to create atmospheric particles that would diffract light at just the right wavelength.

This is going to be the second coming of christ or a bullshit smoke and mirrors game. Hmm which one is more likely

Or it could be another Spore. Just Meh. We'll see what happens.

I am pretty excited about this game. I concur with the Spore comment too, It's hard to know what to expect. I'm going to wait until this game launches before buying. I was extremely disappointed to see they are selling a collectors edition for $150 and it doesn't even come with a physical copy of the game...

I have mixed feelings on this. Cool concept, but not sure if it'll really be fun and interesting. Plus that guy always says "rezourzez" and it bugs me, lol

Also, more links without context :)

I will agree, despite the fact that the "self creating universe" is a cool idea.

Just seen this will require an i3 processor as a minimum. So I guess I won't be getting it.

Looks like it would be entertaining to play. Also while using a VR headset. Also while under the influence. Also.

I don't think YOU need to be under the influence, you crazy cat.

I thiiiiink this game is coming out soon? Going to wait for reviews. Still wish it wasn't first person and that you could see your character. Anyone buying it?

I will when it retails under £40. That's my limit for any game.
