E3 2016 Thread

I am looking forward to the immense popularity and massive library of quality games that will support PlayStation Move VR and Xbox Kinect VR.

The Future* looks fantastic, especially with my HD 3D glasses.

The Future* is now, frankly.

I love the convenience of strapping on gear, literally leashing me to my computer, only to have the doorbell ring (pizza time!)

Or for my bladder to ring (potty time!)

Of course, one could argue that many folks have been leashed to their computers for decades...so the addition of VR Paraphernalia is not going to change behavior. These are the same people who excelled at World of Warcraft (feeding pets and children was optional, apparently).

Does Stridex still sell Acne Abatement (AA) creams and cleansers for folks with sensitive skin?

That said, I think VR will be a neat attraction ("experience") arriving at a Dave & Busters location near you soon! After your meal, you will receive a moist towelettes to wipe pizza grease from your fingers, and a moist Stridex Pad to wipe the forehead/nose grease off the VR headset.

I germaphobe and will only be letting my gf use my PS VR, since we already share all sorts of things anyway.

When I went to Galloping Ghost I realized how weak I have become in my old age, as I never used to feel gross touching joysticks in an arcade.

I must be getting old as e3 just isn't that exciting for me anymore. What used to be a fun sneak peek at upcoming games has become a massive marketing event. I guess it always was, but the older I get the more I notice it. Most everything is hyped so early in development so you can rush to preorder, then forget about it when it releases in a year.

Sorry for the rant, it just feels like a different thing now

Microsoft conference is pretty weak so far. Computer people should be banned from public speaking. It's awful, so stilted and forced.

So i can't be arsed to watch this, how many games did they promise, but more than likely won't deliver this time?

Every other game seems to be zombies. I guess zombies are de rigueur.

Not looking forward to it for like the fifth year in a row.

More shoot shoot shoot kill kill kill, remakes, VR shenanigans, the next Fifa/NBA/Madden roster updates.

Thanks, but no thanks.

Now if you excuse me, I'll get back to work and listen to Lords of Thunder Feka CD soundtrack.

Gaming since 1985

Well the xbox one is practically undead as it is so that makes sense.

I have been waiting for a new Zelda since I saw the "screenshots" 2 years ago. It looked so amazing: vast and detailed. I found a good deal on a Wii U about a year ago and scooped it up. Now it has already been sold because there is still no word on that f*cking Zelda game. Instead, they remade yet another one that I already played through when I had a Wii.

The Wii U is an awesome system. But, the sales figures are rough, and Nintendo isn't giving it the love it deserves. I'm not sure which is the cause and which is the effect. Anyway, the price on the system as well as its games will tank once the NX comes out, and I'll buy another one, I guess.

I'd like to see a new 3-D Mario game like Mario 64, Galaxy, etc. I don't like the "New Super Mario Bros" games. I would also be satisfied with a real 2-D Mario game like SMB 1-3 and SMW.

The effect is sales figures, nintendo cared more about the 3DS than they do the wii u.

Nintendo had the right approach years ago with there direct video press conference. The live stage shit is old and dated, and appeals more to investors and stock holders than people who actually play games

I went to Sony's live showing event at a theater here locally. It was just a bunch of VR crap, more zombie games and FPS garbage. They also talked about rebooting the Crash series, like anyone gives a crap. The only thing that excited me even slightly was that they showed the new KOF in the previews. other than that, I didn't care for most of it.
