It's just something I thought YouTubers did. People seem to get a lot of free stuff in return for helping promote things.
It totally is. So do we have a deal, then? Here's what I was thinking:
For $150 shipped, I will just say "iRetroGamer.com", with no context, at the end of one of my "niche" videos.
For $125 shipped, I will say "
...and I want to give a shout-out to iRetroGamer.com" at the end of one of my "niche" videos.
For $100 shipped, I will say "...and I want to give a
BIG shout-out to iRetroGamer.com" at the end of one of my "niche" videos.
For $75 shipped, I will say "...and I want to give a BIG shout-out to
my buddy iRetroGamer.com" at the end of one of my "niche" videos.
If you give me the console absolutely free, I will say "...and please check out my good buddy's up-and-coming YouTube channel, iRetroGamer.com, for in-depth analysis of all of your favorite retro games." at the end of my next LAUNCH VIDEO (lots of views!).
I do appreciate that you like my channel, and it's not that I'm purposefully trying to sound like an ass, but think about how snarky this post seems, and then think about how you sound when you go to someone like Sparky, who doesn't know you from Adam, with your hand out asking for free stuff in exchange for a plug.
