Metal Gear Solid was always shit anyway, this could be a good change. I don't understand why people like a game that involves watching a cut scene for an hour, sneaking through one room for an hour cause you gotta move soooo slow, and then doing the process all over again.
Yeah, you could reduce it down to that I guess, but I enjoyed it myself. That's a popular criticism for lots of modern games though, that they're not as interactive with the player, are too much of a movie to a great extent to tell the story. I never minded that actually, as long as the story was good/interesting/weird (
all 3 apply to MGS for me, heh). But then, I'm a big movie buff, and it's also why I like RPGs the most, I wanna be told a good/interesting story in between level grinding, traveling, puzzle-solving or whatever.
