when you are playing it on a thing where you don't have to put money in it to try again, it eventually becomes easy.

half the trick is just knowing when to like drop bombs, and playing aggressive enough that you're in the middleish of the screen blowing stuff up.

I watch people hover near the bottom and its like dumbass, youre gonna die.   you aren't killing fast enough, and then you just get killed by all the jellybeans flying around

Great tip man, I do hover near the bottom, and always think i shouldve bombed. I'll keep practicing. I can get through first stage without losing a life consistently now

yeah if you f*ck off at the bottom of the screen, you're basically asking to get dead.   You have half as many places to move to, and you can't wipe stuff out as quickly. 

there's times where you basically want to be almost touching stuff as you shoot it, so you inflict deadness ASAP.    you also need to get used to your collision box, because you can actually touch stuff and not die.    You only die when it's really really touch.    touch and really touch won't kill you.

that throws people off.

The trick to atlantean is just like Defender.  Don't go flying warp f*cking speed at stuff.
