I arrange my Turbo games by color.  I have the orange titles first, then the genre colored titles arranged as to be appreciated by my boy Roy. G. Biv.  Then I have my CD games after that, regular CDs followed by Super CDs.

you do whatever works for the space you have.  it doesnt matter what they look like.
If I were hurting for space that badly, I'd just keep the hueys out of their cases like I used to, but I have room on the shelf for to arrange them now, so I figured I'd make it look good while I'm at it.

My PCE games are alphabetical by title, though the Arcade Card games are on a separate shelf with system cards, flash carts, and a couple Tennokoes.  The Turbobs are a bit fooked up; they're still alphabetical but are separated by genre (kinda) in those cheap little storage drawer things.

Alphabetical in English or Japanese?

My PCE games are ordered by Volume number when applicable, then the CDs are together, Super CDs after that, and ACDs third.

...but like half my PCE games are at my girlfriend's place and half are at mine, so.....yeah.

I separate mine by format. That's it. There isn't even really any point to that. Rummaged through the "wrong" games in an attempt to find the right one is my way of engaging with my entire collection. Same for everything else I have. I may own hundreds of LDs and thousands of records but I only have maybe a half dozen categories.

I'm pretty sure this is how my jewel cased games are sorted:

I have Arcade Card, bicompatible, and demo CD games at the top of one CD rack. Then Super CD games go downward in order of RPG'ish: War Sim: Actiony arcadey non-shooters, shooters, digital comic/adventure and then misc.

The shelf to the right is Turbo CDs up top, first SCD (d
sorted by spine color?), then CD2. Beneath that are PCE CD2 in the same kind of genre order.

To the right of that is TurboChips up top. Orange spine first, then the rest sorted by color. Beneath that is the few CIC PCE HuCards I have left.

Alphabetical in English or Japanese?

English.  I'm too dumb to read moon runes, so I've made little translated inserts for the spines.  I can't do that for many hueys (stickered spines), but the adjacent English titles help me find what I'm looking for.

Mine's just everything mixed up with no particular ordering, but I like Chris Bucci's ordering scheme too: Alphabetical. That's it, no separation by media type or country.

I separate TG from PC Engine, then just try my best to put them by genre. Arcade card stays with the arcade games. Thank goodness for NEC using jewel cases, since cheap storage racks can be found at nearly every tag sale next to a .50 cent, half full (half empty?) bottle of shampoo.

I honestly find this topic very interesting.  It's bugged me forever that Turbo games had 2 wildly different looks.  As a kid I had a stack of games and I already wanted to sort them by orange label or colored label.  After that, mixing CDs and turbo chips left me with a bad feeling about my stuff.  I separated those two and then it became more apparent to separate further due to how the library worked.

I also had the pair of black Tengen games separate from the rest of my NES games in the box I had them in.

Sup, join my hockey team? Team PCEFX only has a goalie, and I think two forwards, and a defender. We need at least 6 more dudes to join in for a tournament, ideally 12 + goalie
