Weird video quality issue
« on: April 29, 2025, 02:38:17 PM »
Hey guys. I have an internally RGB modded PCEngine (white one).
This is the mod: https://codeberg.org/CBMretro/PC_Engine_RGB_and_Audio_Amp
It is giving me video quality issues, more especifically a sort of "ghosting" which is really annoying. You may also notice that the colors seem too bright I think, looking at the last 2 blocks of each color
I've tried 2 different internal RGB mods (the one installed and another one from ebay), also tried an external RGB mod which includes RCA to test RCA. Problem is the same in all of them.
I've done a recap. Scart cable is shielded and high quality.
Using OSSC and Everdrive Core, RF shield is not installed, if that helps.
Could the video chip be bad? (in that case, ive been scammed)
Thank you
