You should play more SMS games besides Alex the Kidd.  Also try:  Psycho the Fox, Space the Harrier, Out the Run, Wonder the Boy in Monster the Land, Chop the Lifter and of course Missile the Defense 3D!

Don't forget The Boy Wonder III : Curse the Dragon:P

The poll is at NES - 11, SMS - 10 so far. I believe this is the first time that the NES has outnumbered the SMS in the poll so far. This is getting interesting  8) .

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

As I've said before, I collect for both SMS & NES, both are completely different systems with a different range of games that will appeal to different people. Nothing personal, but what I've quoted is a really dumb statement to make.

The SMS has more than enough great fun games and many people had them back in the day.

I don't know anything about Atari.

Because the Master System rocks you hard with MEGA POWER and blows you away with super fantastic games that you can't get anywhere else!  Plus Master System fans don't sign their posts.  Instead, they use the extra memory for great sentences like this one!

The only good thing about the 7800 was that you could play 2600 games on it, my friend had one and we spent more time playing old ass 2600 games than 7800 games.

That's another thing that was great about the Master System... you couldn't play 2600 games on it.  :)

I love that argument! Even the NES could play 2600 games.

Granted the Master System didn't have the sheer number of titles released for it the Nes had stateside in stores,if you mail ordered from Sega or import shops you could easily get some awesome titles for it which kinda evened the score some depending on what you liked playing. For what its worth,I perfer the Master System more because its titles were more of what I played. Ill take its arcade ports, and its independent titles any day of the week over the Nes arcade ports and Nes originals. Not that I dont like the Nes,I do to a extent, but the stuff I enjoy the Master System did better.

You can find a translated version of the Famicom Ys at this site.

Thanks, Dark Fact - I'm checking it out now.  There's no such thing as bad Ys or too much.  :)
U.S. Collection: 98% complete    157/161 titles

sorry for the dumb statement.  I just have far too many great nes memories.  Had my parent's gotten me a Sega Master System back in the christmas of '87 I probably would have a totally different opinion.  =)   I actually do have one now- what are some of the absolute BEST games for it? (So I know what to look for)
