Where can I find Atari 2600 plug n' play with a cartridge slot?
« on: January 27, 2007, 06:24:05 PM »
I heard there was one freatured on G4 TV.  Supposedly, it's a 2600 controller, with a cartridge slot built in, & possibly some built in games as well.  Anyone know where I can find one??

I thought that it was the Flashback 2 that had one or was ready for one to be attached.

yeah, the atari flashback 2 had the ability to have one added:

I have one, but haven't bothered with the mod because 1) I'm lazy and 2) I'm planning on getting a 7800 one of these days anyway.

for one that's pre-modded, check ebay.

Well, the one I'm talking about that "supposedly" exists, is just the joystick, & it has a cartridge port on it, & probably some built in games.  I can't recall if the guy said if it had a port for a 2nd joystick.  Oddly enough, the guy that told me about it, worked for Midway, & was involved in Thrill Kill, among other games.  Anyways, maybe it's one of those things I'd have to find in Lil' Tokyo, or......maybe Big Lots?  They seem to have alot of KO stuff.
