Capcom versus SNK 2

Doesn't EO have retarded Agetec-style shortcut buttons?  If so, I think that would kinda ruin the game. :(

P.N. 03

P.N. 03 is really an acquired taste, I find it hard to recommend to people.  Some people really, really like it while others really, really hate it.

<cough>

Anyways, I'd definately recommend Ikaruga if you don't have it for Dreamcast already.

Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2 are fun little games, if you like games like Marble Madness I'd highly recommend it to you.

If you are into strategy RPGs, I would highly recommend the Gamecube Fire Emblem; it blows away the GBA games in my opinion.  As for other games in the genre, Gladius is most definately cheap, but it is pretty mediocre.  The Battallion Wars games are equally good.  Animal Crossing is a fun game, however I got tired of it after a month or two - but I played the hell out of it for those one or two months.

OK, so I bought 4 games. All were less than $15, and two were less than $10.

Viewtiful Joe
Bomberman Jetters
Jeremy Hatcher and the giant egg
Donkey Kong Jungle beat

Played 'em all except VJ; probably won't get to until tomorrow at least.
My thoughts:
Bomberman Jetters: BOMBERMAN SHOULD NOT TALK. And if he must, please give him a voice that isn't female. and isn't obviously done by the same voice actor as another character. Also, the one player mode seems a bit easy, but I haven't got very far.

Jeremy Hatcher: The best game of the bunch so far. Its simple, its fun, and its goofy. Why this game doesn't get more recognition, I don't know.

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat: This was not what I expected. I thought this would be Donkey Conga 2. It isn't; it's a platformer you play with the congas. (LERN 2 REED TEH BOX NEWB!) I was dissapointed at first, but it's actually fun. i still want the actual music game, though. (I got two conga controllers for 7 bucks, BTW.)

So, sadly, unless VJ is an order of magnitude worse than expected, BJ is the worst game of the bunch so far :(

Viewtiful Joe is one I recommended.

And you might find it's the best of the bunch. I like Viewtiful Joe 2 best myself but they're both good. Actually one of my favorite GC games.

Zelda The Wind Waker is decent. At least it is very pleasing graphically, but the game itself is pretty boring. My least favorite 3d Zelda game (I love the others).

I've been wanting to get this game. While my house has the two Donkey Konga games and they are fun, I like the unique gameplay of this one. I've only played a little bit of it at the store and thought it was a lotta fun.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

doode, go out and buy animal crossing. It even comes with its own memory card to be dedicated to it. you can even play oldskool nes games on there too, its like it has its own virtual console built in. :D

Hahaha, Billy Hatcher.

I didn't really like that game, I found it to be pretty buggy.  I love the ridiculous concept though.

Billy Hatcher was originally a N64 game, but got ported over to the GC.

Hahaha, Billy Hatcher.

Freudian Slip. There was a book I read as a kid that I loved, called 'Jeremy Thatcher, dragon hatcher'.
