I cannot run the SuperGrafx demos since only 10 people on the entire planet even have that console (I am not one of them).  Yeah, the System 3.0 warning screens were boring.  The 2.0 warning screen was much better.
I hope you are referring to the good old American Turbo Grafx 16 CD version  8) . Yeah, that one did look a lot cooler.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Yeah, I believe that is System 2.0.  System 1.0 is the card which can only run All-Turd Beast and has a negative amount of RAM (-16k) instead of 64k.

I thought magic engine could run supergrafx games, but I got the warning screens instead.  I used system card 3.0 FEKA . . . WTF?
The Turbo was Dual Core when Dual Core wasn't cool . . .

Well apparently Magic Engine doesn't emulate very well from the sounds of your post (and to believe they actually charge for that BS).  I'll stick with the real thing.

Magic Engine does NOT properly emulate the SGX. It only provides enough emulation accuracy to support the official games developed for the platform, it does not properly emulate the machine as a whole.
