Best Zelda game?

So! Which one do you think is the best game in the Zelda series? The CD-i games are obviously excluded, as they aren't actually games.

Personally... I say Ocarina of Time. I'd like to say Twilight Princess, but I can't, as I recently replayed Ocarina of Time and enjoyed it immensely... just like every time I've played through it (5-10 times). While Twilight Princess is the best game I have played since Ocarina of Time itself, it's just not as good. Majora's Mask deserves mention as well, as that game is simply incredible. Too bad it has no replay value for me for some reason. Can't seem to enjoy it again. Additionally, I consider Zelda 3 the best 2d Zelda, but I couldn't possibly vote for that, as I don't like the 2d Zelda games anywhere near as much as the 3d ones.

Ocarina, no contest.  The only other ones I even remotely like are the first two.

Link's Awakening. It's a refreshing change from the rest of the games in terms of both storyline and gameplay, and it made very good use of the hardware it was programmed on. The earlier games are good of course, but most of the later games just seemed kinda blah. I've yet to play the newest two though, but it sounds like more of the same that I didn't like in the post-Awakening games...too much grinding and too many distractions.

A Link to the Past is the only Zelda game that I can tolerate.  Ocarina of Time made me vomit with its shitty graphics, the original seems way too basic as if it were programmed in a week, the 2nd game looks repetitive as hell, nobody cares about Gameboy games and the other 3D incarnations are too boring and MUST be powered off within 30 seconds to avoid slipping into a coma.

I find it very difficult to consider Zelda II to even be a Zelda game. Not to say that the game isn't great...it's one of my faves, and the game I used the most while testing my own NES emulator, but it's just so vastly different from the rest; it's as if someone took a platformer and said "hey, let's stick Link in here instead of this dopey guy we already got"...sorta like the US release of SMB2.
