Is that a DS game?  I can't tell the difference between PSP and DS graphics.  That looks like it could be a DS game.
Regardless the graphics still suck.

The graphics when you are playing the game look a lot smoother than those screenshots show.  The explosions and other weapons effects are impressive too.

Plus with the speeds the game goes it's not really that noticeable.

I think the graphics look pretty good, yeah it's no PS3, but this is a handheld we're talking about.

Well Keranu only likes things that are ultra shitty and no one else likes, so if he says the graphics suck that really means that everyone else in the world will think they're great.

But just imagine that 10 years from now the graphics will be sooo old and crappy!

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Considering this being a portable game, the gfx are amazing in my book. Hell, Wipeout Pure still looks amazing (way better than PS1 gfx that is for sure).  One thing I also loved about Pure was the soundtrack and so far Pulse sounds like it won't disappoint.  Funny thing, I never really liked the Wipeout console versions for some reason, but I'll be checking out the PS3 version.

IGN (AU) Review - 9.0
http://psp.ign.com/articles/840/840713p1.html

"WipEout Pulse is the new racer to own on the PSP. It feels better, plays better, sounds better and looks better than every other racer on the system. Hell, it's better than certain next-gen racers that we dare not mention. Sure, it’s not a massive reinvention of the series. But with almost three years free of the brain-frying WipEout experience, we’re just happy to have something new which recaptures the glory days of old."

Also a feature I didn't know before - if you hate the in-game music (why????) then you can play tracks off of your memory stick.

Sweet!  If you don't show it off to us, then I suggest a self-imposed ban.

Ok well haven't got mine yet...I bought it from a local ebay seller in Seattle and they said they had "30 available" but after waiting a few days I contacted them and they said that they are taking stock of the game today...sob.

I do plan on making Turbo/PCE/PC-FX skins though to share out to anyone who wants it on http://www.wipeout-game.com.  Will probably make some tonight :D

I kinda wish I didn't buy mine, I never had Pure, I just came straight from XL and Wip3out. So I'm not used to the controls, and I keep crashing into walls.

You using the d-pad or analog stick Kit?  For me, I use the analog stick, and use the L and R shoulder buttons to assist in turns (I assume they still use L & R in Pulse to help in turns)
