Dude....trading a 360 for a PC-FX? That's like trading your penis for a nickel.

Sorry for butting into your thread, scrodamoon, but I couldn't resist.  Best of luck with your auction.

I'm morally committed to never buying an Xbox of any sort, but if that doesn't matter to you (obviously not since you bought a 360) then I'm puzzled as to why one would want an FX over a 360. The 360's Live Arcade stuff is f*cking amazing. The FX...just sucks. Seriously, as cute as it is, its one of the worst consoles ever. There is hardly any selection of genuine "games" on it whatsoever, quality or otherwise. There is one semi-decent brawler, and one shooter. The rest is mostly RPGs, and action RPGs of a quality I would describe as mobile phone-grade. Its worse than a Supergrafx since at least a Supergrafx can play PCE games.

The only way a 360 is going to sit unplayed, and an FX would be actually played, is if you are just being contrary...or if you don't buy any live arcade stuff.

I imagine he's more interested in seeing what the PC-FX console is actually like since it's so damn obscured. We've all been down this path, really. That said, PC-FX isn't as bad as it's made out to be, but it complete relies on your taste and confidence. Generally speaking, yes PC-FX is pretty awful as a good game console, but it's not for everyone.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I've learned to ignore SignOfZeta's anti PC-FX filibusters. He doesn't like the console and he never will. It's pointless trying to convince him otherwise.

Well besides REZ HD for the xbla there isnt much i want to play and if i play them I prefer to have the older console to go with it.

My boys right now are playing sonic the hedgehog 2 on the thing, figure that out. and if thats the case wouldnt a genny for 20 bucks be more worth it to me.

I like the 360 but not as much as I like some of the other consoles out there. remember me selling my 360 is not just for a pcfx but other consoles as well.

I have to admit I wouldn't make that trade, but I can understand the curiosity and desire to get the PC-FX.

Wise words, but half the time you just have to ignore anything negative he says period, because its like hes in 24/7 Grumpy Smurf mode. I dont think he means to be,he just is.
