broken tg16 need pics of the insides of tg16
« on: July 29, 2008, 06:30:36 PM »
hey there not sure what is the issue with my tg16 it wont play thats for sure. but possibly what was the issue with Chop5's tg16 seems to be along the lines of this one but when I opened it up, seemed the screws to the case where a bit worse for wear so took a bit of work.

Inside I opened it up and found the following and not sure if there is suppose to be a screw in the hole onto the board or not or if that is the way that it is suppose to be.

and is the only way to open it up further to remove the soder? looks that way just finally got into it so taking a break to ask this question.

yeah there was a screw on there, with a small washer i think. connects to the shielding. Its easy to remove the solder. Get some desoldering braid from radio shack and put the iron over it.
