Have made my payment today.
It comes from japan and used the EMS option so i should normally have it next week.
Can't wait

PS: For that few games that benefit the power of the supergrafx Granzort looks cool, any other recommendations?

Aldynes (hori shooter)
ghouls n ghosts
1941: Counter Attack (vert shooter)
Granzort

are the only games worth getting for SGX, IMO. that's also 90% of the catalog

(Battle Ace is the one remaining game).

If you really want the titles that are 100% unique to SGX (no versions appear on other platforms), then Aldynes and Granzort are the first titles to get.

NOTE: I have never played Battle Ace or 1941 on the actual console, so my opinions for these two are based upon emulation (ME).

ALSO: I am totally jealous of the auction you recently won. Friggin' SWEET!

hey steve666, I am eying neo nectaris on ebay...I like your info site on it and it got my interest...I have never played Military madness, and am thinking about getting it too...what are your thoughts? -Josh

word up! GOOD NEWS: well, you don't have to buy Military Madness because....

you get the Nectaris HuCard ROM as a BONUS with NEO NECTARIS. It's called "NECTARIS1" on the menu screen. You don't have to unlock it, it is always available.

Of course, it's the Japanese version... so there's very little English. But it plays identical to the HuCard (the console boots up the ROM from the CD drive instead of the card slot).

If you can get the Military Madness HuCard cheap, go for it. Otherwise, enjoy the Japanese version! You really aren't missing much, since there is minimal storyline (read all about it here). Plus, you can view the TG-16 instruction manual on my site as well.

My supergrafx setup arrived today!
Only managed to run 1 game (supergrafx game) as i can't run US pc engine games yet.
I also need a 2nd stepdown as i need power for the cd rom2 to. :oops:

Will certainly need:

1) a 2nd stepdown
2) a hucard adapter for us games
3) make the modification
4) Will propably buy the arcade card pro
5) Buy a few supergrafx games

Will have my work cut out before things get going.

GGGrrr... Only managed to find a US>Jap adapter.
It's a Jap>US that i seek.
Well, to be honest i found one but it was 69.99£!!!
For that money i can almost buy 2 TG's!!!
Does anyone here know a link where i can buy one that's affordable?

Get that one right away!

Personally never heard such beast, but only JP->US converter.
I got my SGX mod'd by D-Lite.

those are the converter to run JP hucard on US console.
I thought you said you found a converter to run US hucard on JP console? Coz I never seen such beast...

I'd had few converters in various types except kisado but being stupid sold 'em for $50 each...
