Revised for the dawn of a new age: Gaming/Movie set-up pics
« on: November 01, 2008, 08:10:22 PM »
Since its been about 10 months now since the last post on this subject, I removed the old thread, and started this new one. Not going to show pics of everything in my room, since the other tv area and computer area is plain boring for the most part, but here are pics of the main areas of interest after rearranging my bedroom some:

A glimpse of whats in the hallway blocking my bedroom/hallway door I never use:

After I go though and sort and clean up all of these, I will take better pics and include pics of all the shelves. Right now I'm not going to, as its a cluttered mess I would be too embarrassed to show. I'm actually considering moving them all into my bedroom, since I'm the only one who watches them anymore anyway really. We have hundreds of them litterly. What you don't see is the whole middle and bottom shelf, and vhs stuff we still have boxed away too. :(

So, what is your current set up like at the moment?

Nice setup. I want that Robocop LD.  =P~

Do you normally use cardboard boxes as shelving?

For that stuff, currently, yea. Its all on the top bunk of my bunk bed, and will be till I get motivated to buy a couple of tall shelf units. That and I like the ease of use, as I can move them in large stacks easier that way.

Yea, got to love the CAV Robocop Criterion release. I have 2 of them currently and that 20th Anniversary DVD set. I need to get the single disc CLV release too of the Criterion. After my next batch of LD's arrive, I'll take some pics of them off the shelf laid out nicely on the bed or something. Assault on Precinct 13, and Hellraiser 1 and 2 arrived. I'm damn glad I jumped on Hellraiser 2 Special edition, as I got it for around 7 bucks. Evidently its not common at all on LD anymore, and most of the time except in rare cases like mine it demands around $30-40. Basically rebuilding my LD collection up again, and after the newest ones arrive, I'll be up to 70 movies.

The old thread had not been bumped in forever, that is mainly why it was removed. Most people add much more to their set up at times within a 6 month period even, or change up the layout, ect, giving reason to post new pics, so rather then rehash a completely dead thread it was best to remove it and start fresh. Keeps people from having to scroll over pages of older content from prior years. Some people dont mind this, some do, just as some people would mind the old thread being removed, and some could care less. Cant please everyone in all said cases.
