NES toploader - did anyone ever manage to fix the video?
« on: December 29, 2008, 10:40:42 AM »
Hi all, just wondering if there was ever a confirmed video fix for the top load NES2. I have one on the way. :D

I've been researching and found plenty of info on the A/V mod, but that doesn't seem to fix the vertical line issue

Thanks!

I never thought it noticeable enough to bother fixing, to be honest. Adjusting your tv can help a lot too. I believe there was a mod that fixed it, but I can't remember where the site was. Try searching over on Atariage. I think that's where I saw the link a couple of years ago.

Not sure of Verticle line issue, I did the AV mod and was pretty happy with the results. It has been about 5 years since I owned / did the mod though and I don't think the lines were bad enough for me to recall.

Hooked it up and it doesn't seem as bad as I remember it being.

I hate only having the option of RF and may look into the AV mod eventually.
