Living in japan helps too. 

Also while I don't have any pics my 2008 buys include all my TG/PCE related stuff, all my MVS stuff, and a lot of other stuff that I need to compile a gargantuan list of...

'08 was mostly NeoGeo for me.  About 5 games were purchased back in 07, but the rest were bought in 08.  The '09 goal is to finish the KoF and Metal Slug sets, as well as a Big Tournament Golf (Neo Turf Masters).
