I don't care if he calls the Nihon Telenet library so-so, but f*ck him for using Valis X as part of the announcement when Valis X was a total shitstain on the game franchise.  It's not part of the library! I actually had to log into the ANN forums just to make a point about that.

Yes, Nihon Telenet games have fanservice, but they're not Valis X quality porn! :x

Sorry, but I don't see your library card on the books of Ys.  Now, RETURN THEM TO ME!!!

Yeah, no need to break what's already fixed.  I'm really gonna look forward to this.  I'm so glad that cult hit games for the VC are finally getting their comeuppance! :D

The only thing I didn't like, was that the German intro was re-recorded(probably more accurate German, but, I liked the original) & some of the voices ingame were changed, but, oh well.

You've never played it?  Do you have a PSP?

It really isn't worth it even if you have a PSP.  The polygon graphics are atrocious, though better than, say, the upcoming Rocket Knight Adventures remake.  I guess polygon 2.5D stuff is a shit-ton easier to do than hand-drawn/painted 2D backdrops scrolling at different speeds with sprites.  I would so love to see Castlevania 1, 3, Bloodlines, Dracula X remade in proper 2D with painted visuals and no polygons.  The new Castlevania Adventure WiiBirth is pretty good, but not as good as such a game could be.

The original game is in the PSP game though, which makes up for any lack of love you may have for 2D with polygons.

Yeah but...I'm not interested. I have a PSP. I also have a PC Engine. If I really need to play it on the go...well, the current state of PCE emulators on PSP is incredible.
