Image Fight penalty zone (arcade) cleared on youtube!

Don't know if anyone has already seen this, but I found it for the first time tonight:

Man, that's nuts.  The penalty zone would lead to a quick and inevitable death for me.

I can see how you're supposed to dodge everything, but, DAMN, I'm watching a video and the strategy is plainly demonstrated.

I don't know how I would have handled the stage on my own, especially when you're dodging walls of projectiles with 4 distinct patterns  simultaneously.

Wow.  I played this game (PC Engine) last night for far too long.  I finally beat the first five levels on 'Easy' mode, but I got banished to the Penalty Zone after level 5.  I must have spent an hour at least just on the Penalty Zone, and while I got near the end, I never could beat or get past the last 2 walls of moving lasers.  

I must say, "This game is tough!"

I've gotten past stage 5 twice on Image Fight.. .once on PCE once on x68000.  Both times I had exactly 90% so I've never experienced the Penalty zone.  Though stage 6 (or 1 or whatever) handed my rear to me in a hurry.

Definitely a tough game but I still love it. It's relatively non-expensive on the PCE too which is nice.

I havent played in quite a while, but i got to the point where I could consistently clear stages 1-4 on recruit class with 100%

Such a fun game! Theres nothing quite like those red pods

I should pull out Image Fight. I haven't played it in a while.
