Speaking of Famicom stuff, does ANYBODY know how to fix a Famicom Disk System? Mine's got a new belt in it, but it has a timing error so it still doesn't work.

If i knew electronics i tell ya

My advice just.. sell it to some body that wants to mess with it.

Then find another that works there not that rare.

Btw been playing, Gauntlet Dark Legacy on the GC again.

Every once in a while i'm in the mood for a hack'n'slash game.

Saturn:

Policenauts - Manage to finish the game for the second time. The first was on the PS1. Just wish I have a light gun for the Act 7. The lobby scene gets crazy, so many damn guards shooting me at once. Gets really fustrating to aim with a d-pad.

Salamander Deluxe - Only for the original Salamander. Haven't put much time into Lifeforce, maybe sometime later. Salamander 2 is quite lame, way to easy and the gameplay falls short.

NEC PC-88:

Psy-O-Blade - A digital comic game. Everything is in japanese and I can barely piece together the story plot, but that's not stopping me. I continue to play because I just love listening to it's music. Anyone know about this game, and like to fill me in on the story?

The folks at Tokugawa will be your best bet, I think. ;)

But there are a bunch of new folks here now, so maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised with some additional PC-88-98 fans on these boards...

I probably should post at Tokugawa, huh? It's been a while since the last time I visited.

Beside Steve666 and Kaminari, who else here is into PC88/98 games?

I'm sort of into PC-88/98, I just wish I had a real one so I didn't have to use emulators. Keranu no like computer emulators.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I want one too, but I'm actually more satisfied with the emulators for once. And I don't think I can invest in anymore systems. Between the my MSX and PCE, I'm going broke.

Yay, another fan of PC-88/98, X68000, and MSX. :)

I've yet to try out the Fujitsu FM games, but I want to someday just to play Laydock and Rayxanber.

I was really bored at work today, and I happend to have the Turbo Express there since I was playing it on my lunch break.  Well, the boss wasn't around, we were absolutely dead, so I pulled it out and played some Shinobi and Blazing Lazers.  Good stuff, but I kept dying in BL since I was looking up to see if anyone was coming.

Cool story. Is your TE modded? I ask because I am curious how you played Shinobi on it.

Just got Fire Emblem for Famicom in the wild a couple hours ago. Can't wait to play it. I'm and hour and a half away from home in Virginia Beach as I type this post.

A few days ago I bought Resident Evil: Code Veronica X for the PS2. I got it for $10.23 brandnew at Fry's Electronics. I wasn't suppose to spend any money since I had already forked over half my paycheck on games this month.

After staring at the game for 5 minutes, I decided to buy it. I thought to myself I'd be kicking myself in the ass later if didn't. It so cheap. I'm glad I did because RECVX is quite fun to play.

The knife is damn powerful in this game, not powerful as a shotgun, but if used correctly you can literatlly put down one zombie in three swings. You can't use the knife expoit as in RE3, instead use the down slash to do mulitple hits in one swing leading to tons damage.

I'm halfway thru the game and up to now I've survived with only my knife, seriously. I'm kinda obessed knifing every zombie to death. Slash the legs, zombie on floor, rake the back twice w/ knife for mulit-hits.
