I thought the last sealed copy sold for $2600. 

I am fairly certain I have met that guy.  For those in the Chicagoland area, there is a flea-market of sorts in Palatine.  It is a shady little place, but I enjoy going there from time to time.  There is a dedicated vintage video game seller, which actually has a lot of stuff... The prices are not great, but that is to be expected.  I remember asking if they had said game, and he said that he did.  I think he said he had a sealed copy, of which I want to have no part of, but I wanted a loosey goosey to play.  There were random people with all kinds of stuff, I did see some snes games like a year ago (probably not still there :)

He did say it was "perhaps" the last copy.. :)

Didn't someone sell a sealed copy of MC on here for $600 a while back? To me that's a much more reasonable price for a game, but even then I'd rather pick up an LT ...

I think D-Lite was asking $600 for a sealed one, but that was several years ago (I want to say 2006 but might be wrong). Obviously the price has gone up since then.
