Some of the pictures that flash when you get hurt can be funny.  I just love the hapless look on the face in the first two pics:

But yeah, the game is crap.  Here is some 60fps video at 240p (320x240) of me playing it on my Saturn.  You can see how the game is pretty much crap:

Windows Media - 16.1 MB

Quicktime - 16.6 MB

I doubt I'll be uploading these (or something longer) to Yout00b unless there is a complete dearth of FFR video there.

hahah I forgot about that...

for some reason I thought they were shown in negatives

Some other FFR stuff I found funny were
> Edi.E, actually saying "BANG!" when he fires his gun and his elegant display of police brutality by turning into a police car and running you over.
> Damnd poplocking winning pose. I wanna battle and serve him now!

I have Layer Section already in its US form as Galactic Attack. Fantastic shooter I might add!

I might go with Sexy Parodius. I don't know. I can't make my mind up. :-k

Now all I need to worry about is my Saturn's cart slot is functional.  :-k Either way I am glad it's on its way. :)

Agreed i have the saturn port as well.Though mostly for collection sake while it's fun to use maria it's realy a bad port. Now if konami, took the time and build the game from the ground up for the ss it could have been much better.

Here's all you need to know about the Saturn version.

Igarashi (the producer of Symphony of the Night and many other CV games) was asked about the Saturn port right before Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles for PSP came out. When the interviewer mentioned it Igarashi asked "Have you played the Saturn port?" the interviewer replied "yes" at which point Igarashi said "I'm sorry".

What does Sexy Parodius have to do with the Saturn's cartridge slot?  No Konami game ever made use of extra RAM that I know of.

My Saturn is an North American version. It isn't modded so I am going to have to use an Action Replay 3-in-1 cart.

Oh yeah, mine has a region switch and I always forget about the people who don't.  Region switch is the way to go, though.  As a bonus, you get to drill a hole in your Saturn.  What could be better than defacing a classic game console?  Yeah yeah, I'm being facetious, but I do like the switch.

My goal is to play around with this Saturn for a while until I can afford to get a Japanese Victor Saturn. Then try to find someone around here who can drill as many holes in it as physics will allow, and...then have them mod it. :)

The slot on the Saturn sucks so bad.  The only thing that works in my slot is my official memory cartridge, my Gameshark no longer works, so now I can't play any of my imports.

...which is okay, because all the best games came out in the US anyway.  :)

Like Radient Silvergun, Soukyugurentai, all the Parodiuses (Parodii?), Salamander Deluxe Pack, etc. etc.? Yeah, I was in a Game Exchange the other day and they had multiple copies of each collecting dust bunnies.

Yeah, you probably believe that about the PC Engine too, and for the same reason. You haven't played enough games.

Why the Victor Saturn out of curiosity?

I love how they look, and after watching a lukemorse1 vid where he demonstrates the system intro, I just had to have one! The US system intro is boring in comparison.
