No, it doesn't.

I don't know. This doesn't look very impressive to me. It doesn't look like crap or anything, but it looks like one of the hundreds of games that come out every year that I would never buy.

NiGHTS is more or less side scrolling, its full of hoops and shit to fly through, and you shoot nothing, you combo everything. The ground segments are basically Zelda.

I'd be more inclined to agree with the guy in the video, it looks like Space Harrier. Really though this game couldn't be too much more generic looking. The Medusa is kind of cool, I'll give it that.

Your right Blue, in the sense that Nights into Dreams used to be a good game, and when Nintendo released it again it totally sucked.

Man, I bought that NiGHTS for Wii on super clearance and....my God it just talks and talk and talks with the most inane BS you can imagine. It has tutorials too. It looks just like what I wanted, but in the end was basically the opposite of NiGHTS on Saturn in every way.

I paid like 4.00 for it, after all the tutorials and story went by. I turned into Nights and played the first dream and had fun. I then mired through crappy on foot sequences for what seemed like an eternity before I realized that the non-Nights sequences make up most of the game.

Nintendo had nothing to do with releasing it. Sega developed that pile of garbage sequel and simply put it on a Nintendo console.

I got nights for wii the day it came out, excited beyond all belief,and then I put it in, beat it and went oh my f*cking god.

and returned it the same day.


Holy shit was it awful.



I hope this Kid Icarus game doesn't fail horribly.



I did get into an argument at gamestop about it yesterday.

Guy working was all like I CANT WAIT, ITS ABOUT TIME THERES MORE THAN 1 KID ICARUS GAME.

and i went hey, theres been two kid icarus games for about as long as you've been alive, dumbass.

NO THERES ONLY THE NINTENDO ONE


I went home and got the gameboy one, walked back in and put it on the counter and went "You are too stupid to work at a gamestore.  Please quit".



His manager laughed at him and gave me a high five. :D   Go team Arkhan.

I think its lame that all these pretend hardcore Kid Icarus fans have supposedly come out of the woodwork to support this game when, in fact, they had never even heard of the game/series until he showed up in Smash Bros and they read the Wiki.

I played it back in the day, liked it, and more or less forgot about it. It wasn't a horrible game, but it wasn't that great either. That's why it fell into obscurity for 20 years.
