Yeah, I already have it being shipped by Amazon to me, but, I entered a thing on Gamespot to get a code for a free version to download from PSN.  However, I have no idea how they contact you with the code, or when.  I wanna buy the PSN version(mainly to support Xseed & Falcom) even though I'm getting the physical copy of it.  Not sure how long I should wait to see if Gamespot will contact me or not.

You can play all PS games on both the PS3 and PSP.  You can play PSP games only on PSP.

The code thing is easy, just go to account management and redeem code.

MG, are you sure about this? I see PSP games for sale on the PSN store using my PS3. If i were to download one, I wouldn't be able to play it?

I've redeemed codes before.  What I mean is that I'm not sure if I won.  Gamespot gave no indication of when winners would know they won, nor how they will be given the code.

And yeah, PSP games can be downloaded using the PS3, but to play them you must transfer them to the PSP.  That's what I do, instead of downloading them on my PSP.  It takes awhile to download, so, I'd rather do it on the PS3, then my PSP.

Oh & the PS2 version was actually released several years ago by DigiCube I believe....which I heard went out of business afterward.  It's essentially the same game, but the soundtrack was done using the PS2's sound chip instead of this one that has the PC-88, Complete, & Chronicles(live guitars n' stuff) versions.  Plus the PS2 version did have some kind of extra dream world.

Oh, & here's an interview with Tom/Wyrdwad, the main translator for this(& a regular at the Ancient Land of Ys boards)

Correct, you can buy them through the PS3 PSN store, however you have to transfer the game to a Memory Card Pro Duo to play it on your PSP. (via memory card slot or by linking your psp)

It will not allow you to play the PSP game from your PS3.

Well, I just figured out how I get my code if I won.  I'm not on Gamespot all the often, but, I looked up near the top, & there's are PM's that I recieved, so, I went thru them, & noticed that I had won a code for Ys Seven!  Unfortunatly I already paid for & downloaded the PSN version, so, not sure what to do with the code.  Also, the show that I did the trivia on for Ys Seven, was on August 10th.....& they didn't give me the code until September 30th!!  Good grief! ](*,)

If they didn't have component cables for PSP's I would not have bought one. Small screens give me a headache.

I've finally gotten around to playing Ys 1 & 2 Chronicles, & I found a Dawn of Ys reference!  In the Burnebless land, if you change into a Roo, one of the demon's says something like "Celcetan bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down, Celcetan bridge is falling down cuz Gadis cut it" .

I'm not sure if that was Deuce's doing, or if Wyrdwad put that in, either way, I appreciated it!
