I thought the price was going around 50 $ nowadays, but maeby the price is raising. To bad you lost the DC-version Ninja Spirit, it must be very cool to play it online and I dont think the Saturn version is sooo much better (just a little bit) even though I heard people saying it.

Actually it's not so bad having it either. Lately I've been just playing it on Final Burn or MAME. For some godawful reason I have problems getting on Kaillera cuz I'm ready to exercise my Cody on some really good playrs.

IMO it's better than DC. If anyone can recall there's 2 different versions of Alpha/Zero 3. One that runs on CPS2 and the other version on Naomi.

Cody in V-Ism can be VERY powerful. I haven't played fighting games seriously in a long time, but there is that famous combo you can do with V-Ism Cody, something concerning his kick move, followed by a jab (I think), his tornado move, and then constant light kicks in air.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

It use to be cheap heck even common.

Then all of a sudden gamers got interested.... when they found out how good of a port it was.

Now the value of "SFZ3 for the Saturn" has jump like crazy.

Yeah I got a 3-on-3 Zero3 match with a V-Ism Cody from Japan. He made it through 85% of the video and unfortunately lost to a Ryu. But the guy was beastin' big time. One point there was 90 seconds on the clock, he did the V-Ism combo, and once he got him in the corner, it was Game Over. He juggled his ass with those kicks until the clock ran out. And that's when I said "I got to learn Cody"! Right now I'm starting out with A-Ism. One of the Final Burns I use has the cheat feature so I can turn some cheats on such as P1 infinite gauge and P2 infinite energy and make it into a practice mode

V-Ism is such a powerful mode, but it's also very vulnerable. Keep practicing with Cody enough in V-Ism and you'll be sure to have lots of good wins if you can manage not getting hit while you activate V-Ism mode :) . Some other great combo characters are Guy and Gen, but they are very hard to master. When I practiced SFA3 for awhile, I was getting the hang of guy, but I couldn't come close to doing this shit I saw in a V-Ism Guy combo video where he would go on and on against the computer doing this combos that would never stop. It was the most amazing combo video I have ever seen, next to this KoF'98 combo video where they actually showed some infinite combos that are possible in the game. It's amazing because there are only like three known infinite combos in KoF'98 and it is NOT easy to do! It's hard to do just past two hits!

I saw all of those Segata Shanshiro commercials from here , funny commercial series! That link also has many other commercials for lots of other consoles. My brother recorded most of the commercials on two VHS tapes and we enjoyed watching through all of them.

Agreed if only if SOA could have used him as a mascot here

To bad that idot, Berine Stoler was runnning SOA at the time.

Saturn in the "worldwide market" was one of the most underated consoles ever made.

The Saturn's probably my favorite system ever. (On second though. 2nd favorite. The Mega-CD beats the Saturn).

Falcom Classics I and II are my favorite Saturn titles. They are wonderful. :)

The Sega Saturn was the greatest SEGA console ever made, period, in my opinion.  The games that were made for that system were absolutely incredible.  Not only did it play off the 3D aspect very well, it also had an excellent variety of 2D games with awesome crisp visuals and music.

The system also had a great variety of anime games like Magic Knight Rayearth, Cutey Honey, and Guardian Heroes.

However, the biggest reason for me to own that system would be for the Langrisser series.  Five games of medieval fantasy strategy coupled with excellent Urushihara artwork and mind blowing rocking music.  I would so get this system if it had all five games for it.

The Saturn is one of the classic systems I want to own next to the Turbo DUO and PS1. 8)

Sorry, but I don't see your library card on the books of Ys.  Now, RETURN THEM TO ME!!!
