The only two N64 ports I can think of are Zelda: Ocarina of Time and StarFox 64.

What I have find funny is the 3ds has pulled many of the same things that people railed HARD on the psp when it launched.  Price, and being port city (though the 3ds adds a typical  "gimmick").   Once again Nintendo is "SO REVOLUTIONARY", yet they are relying on a lot of ports, with a few remake/upgrades to pull in the fanboys.  There are a few cool looking games coming, but far to few that grab me for my liking.

I haven't been paying much attention, but what N64 ports are you talking about? I mean, actual ports not sequel-ports like Animal Crossing? I'm positive that the number of N64 ports on 3DS could never possibly reach the number of PS ports on PSP, which is just embarrassing. I think there might actually be more PS games ported to PSP than there are retail N64 games.

When the good N64 ports show up..what the small handful of games that were good to begin with or have held up decently?   I think the 64 left a bad/meh taste in a LOT of peoples mouths. I wouldn't count Kid Icarus, or 64 ports to sell to the masses as much as you think.  Sell decently, maybe, sell millions of systems, probably not.

Probably not. While the N64 was a huge flop for me, people are actually pretty in love with it still. Its actually a "retro" console to a lot of 20 year olds now and they still pay real money for the games at the used stores. I don't get it either. Hopefully the thing will get so popular that it will draw money away from the Turbo market and the prices on NEC stuff with drop!

Especially in Japan there are alot of PSX ports.  Breath of Fire 3(which got a EU release, & I have it), but also both Mega Man Legends(which I would love for them to bring over now, especially since I heard the controls are improved!).  Suikoden 1 & 2(once again, I have it, though, wish it was in english, stupid Konami!), Star Ocean 2...though we actually got that one over here.  I know there's a ton more.

The N64 ports was in response to hiz comments...I  am talking about the ports like SF IV, MGS3, etc.  I have yet to see a game (or multiple) to wow me/entice me to buy yet.  Add the abysmal battery life is beyond sad.

Either way, Its stupid if ports are what sells a system.  Itd be like PS3 being sold because they port PS1 games to it.

They're not really being revolutionary, but Nintendo has this really great skill at advertising so they seem super hip and fresh about things that already existed.

Been playing a lot of Street Fighter lately.  The online play is smoother than the console versions.  Also, with the touch screen special moves, the game is more about strategy than technical ability.  It almost turns SF into a RTS game, and it is really cool.  Definitely the best 3DS game I have played.

I got mine from Amazon a couple days ago along with Street Fighter IV. Got Street Fighter IV for $15 cause Amazon had a promotion where you buy a 3DS and get $25 off a launch game. Street Fighter IV is f*cking awesome. The 3D mode where you look over your character's shoulder is awesome.

Not many of the other launch games really impress me. I played Pilotwings and Best Buy and it was OK. Has anybody played Lego Star Wars? That game looked pretty fun and might be the next game I pick up. That or Ridge Racer.

I ordered mine off Amazon.  I have to wait until it ships before I can pick my $25 off game.  Pilotwings is the front runner and number 2 would be the Ghost Ricon game.
