lol, great job Joe!  I laughed pretty hard.  Was it the easiest video you've uploaded, or did you find it more difficult to force yourself to do such low quality?  LOL

You should do more vids like this to increase views.

Actually there were a few things I had to do retakes on because I started making sense or I just wasn't being obnoxious enough.  After editing I went back and added that bit about Zaxxon's Motherbase 2000 at the end, just to be a turd.  :)

The sad thing is, this is actually the level of quality found in just about all YouTube video game reviews.

I do have something else up my sleeve, but it might be a couple of weeks before it is unveiled.  It's no parody or anything like that and it will be kind of review-ish.

I totally dig all the stuff you do, so I'm sure it will be worth it :)

Joe, this episode was absolutely wonderful. :) I'm going to watch it again.

But, first, who is your co-host?

And, the music that played during the ending credits is from Slap Fight? I'll have to check the tunes out, the short excerpt certainly sounded very nice.

Bravo.

Ooops I also posted this link the the "What you watchin' on Youtube" thread.  Oh well.

My co-host is Dave White whom I've known since high school.  He and I are both very into retro games.  He has more games than I do.  In high school he was all about Nintendo and I was all about Sega.  I eventually got him to sell his Nintendo stuff and get into Genesis.  He has since gotten all of his Nintendo stuff back (and then some) but is now in the process of collecting every game released for the Genesis.  And yes, he has a bunch of Turbo stuff as well.  Anyway, we play on the old fanboy-isms in these episodes.  Next week's episode (already shot) is just plain ridiculous, but that's why it'll be great.

And yes, that's Slap Fight.  Music by Yuzo Koshiro.  The music in the game reminds me of Gradius but that tune played at the end reminds Dave of Ys or Dragon Slayer, he said.

Yuzo Koshiro. Damn.

In this episode, the banter/chemistry between you and Dave improved...we are starting to see more personality and character. Definitely a good thing.

Anyway, I love all the little touches you two had (e.g. the pair of you, donning glasses, dodging in unison at the end). Grabbing the missile. Etc. etc.

Has anyone pointed out that you look like the NON-SWISS TATSUJIN (aka "The American version of Tats" (TAVOT))?

I can't wait to see the next episode.

I guess I'll post the links in this thread.

Jen randomly pulls two games out of the game sack to compare.  This time it's Rambo III on the Sega Master System vs Panzer Dragoon Saga on the Sega Saturn.  Which is better?

Joe.

Awesome.

Seriously.

FANTASTIC.

:)

So, take all of the comments I made about the previous video, since they apply to this new episode as well.

Plus, I really like the concept of "Random Battle". It works well since you both have interesting/amusing reasons to support the game you've been dealt.

Please don't stop entertaining us.

Glad you like.  We'll do lots of Random Battles, but obviously we won't do them every episode.  Next week might be a bit special for Turbo users.  :)
