I really liked the Crush video.  It didn't sell me on Jaki Crush, and may have sold me away from picking up the Genesis version (they squished everything?  Really!?  wtf... Though I do like the Genesis version of some of the music)

LOVED the Sonic vs Mario episode.  The stop motion bit at the end was awesome.  No Bonk?  There was mention of Sonic jumping over to a Nintendo system, and there could have been mention of Bonk jumping to the NES.  I guess Bonk is a distant cousin compared to Mario and Sonic.

Every episode has been all sorts of entertaining.  I love the quick cuts with the "swoosh-bang" sound effects when you put a cartridge in the systems.  Lot's of neat little touches like that.

The thing with Bonk is that he jumped to other systems while the TurboGrafx-16 was still being supported!  That kind of makes me not think of him as a PCE icon.  Air Zonk, on the other hand... but even he is just a mutated Bonk.  Damn you PC Engine, for not having a true, dedicated mascot.  Keith Courage doesn't count!

Agreed.  Were there ever any follow-ups to Keith Courage, even in Japan?  If there weren't any sequels, then he couldn't be a real mascot. :p

Jaki Crush is just as deep of a video pinball game as Devil's. I picked up a copy at MGC this year and have not regretted it. If you like DC then get Jaki!

Jaki Crush is a poor man's Devil's Crush. Which isn't a knock against Jaki or anything, as it's a great game in its own right. DC is just so f*cking good. The only area where JC might have a leg up on DC is in the bonus round department.
