Yeah, I don't remember that sticking out either. Then again, the game was so unique that I wouldn't have noticed.

Other genre defying:
Panic (SegaCD) - It's just a hot mess
Odama (GC) - Pinball tactical sim?
Seaman (DC) - Okay, so it's sort of like pikachu

I did think of Cabal/Blood Brothers/Nam '75/Gamshara style of games, but they would be more defining "behind that back, target shooter" type games rather than defying.

Dave is definitely going to mention the excellent Capcom Disney games on NES. Joe will mention the Sega Disney games...hopefully Sunsoft's NES Batman isn't forgotten!
