I liked the bit at the end about the names.

If you guys do another Left in Europe, check out the Mega CD game The Misadventures of Flink.

edit:...waaait, I second guessed myself and, uh, Flink came out stateside according to wikipedia and gamefaqs?  Wow, I feel unintelligent and misinformed!  My only experience with the game was a friend who had the European version and he said it never came out in the states.  ...huh.
Only the cartridge version of Flink came out in europe for the sega-cd,that version came to the u.s.Game Sack did cover the sega-cd version awhile back to.

That is much how I'd imagine Wing Commander to be if it was ported to C64......

As always - great episode .
I remember playing the Master System version of Asterix a lot as a child  :).

Good PAL only stuff - puh there are not that many great ones  :D.

One game that would really have deserved getting mentioned:
Power Strike 2 on the Master System.

And one of the best NES / Famicom titles in my opinion:
Over Horizon (but since that got a Japan release it doesn't really count  :P)

Unfortunately Elite only draws to about half the screen when run on NTSC hardware.

Gah I almost forgot!  There's also Bloodshot/Battle Frenzy on the Mega Drive.  It might have come out in the US on the Sega Channel, but I'm pretty positive the only physical releases were European.

"Terinigma" wut?

Anyway, cool video! I never heard of the Taz game before, and now I'm bummed I can't play it. :(

Great game, which goes for all of 'em in the series! For those unfamiliar, Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia came before it and it can be played via emulator fully English. Enix had closed its US subsidiary by the time the English translation was finished, so it only saw official release in Europe/Australia.

I like the setup for this episode. Just you and an old friend talking while he mods a Turbo Duo, then a Genny 2. Nice choice. Should feature him again down the line.

Cheers. <3
