I hear you.

But there are a lot of younger folks who have yet to play Super Metroid, so it is a nice gesture to encourage them to play the game.

But, in general, it is nice when folks go beyond the "Top __" games for any given system.

I think Game Sack does a good job of not reducing the libraries to popularity contests...although it is hard to avoid it.

El Viento is way better than the Valis games (if you're only going to cover one Telenet game/series), but you've covered it before.

Send me Magical Chase. It needs to be complete mint VGA 85++ in order to be covered, though.

The Guardian Legend is a good one and also one that really surprised me.
