Welcome back Game Sack.  It was well worth the wait.   :D
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Good meaty ep. Glad Joe and Dave covered more obscure titles on the PS2.

Hah, you beat me to it, Tron! I was gonna post this if you hadn't already! ;)

Highlights:

* Our very own Arkhan got his HuCard game Atlantean featured first!

* Chris Covell had his HuZero featured as well.

* The hacks are interesting, but the ones I think I could care about some day are for Zelda and Super Metroid really. Maybe the Castlevania hack for the original NES version could be worth checking out when I'm an old man and if-and-only-if I finished off my backlog and modern stuff by then - just don't see a need to care about that one at present.

* With the rubber feet challenge towards the end, Joe goes full-on with a country boy "monster truck-loving" hillbilly voice!

TheOldMan and sunteam_paul also worked on Atlantean.

Yeah, if Joe was going for Macho Man, it would have been more overt.

Great video, as always, and it's awesome to see some advertisement go Aetherbytes way - they certainly deserve it!!

In the video Joe asks the question what delineates between "Indie" and "Homebrew" - and I think that is as slippery of a slope as "Retro" - personally I hate these terms like a lot of you hate "Shmup" - I think they're misleading and contribute to a generalization of a complicated issue.

I think it's ironic that people think the small and mid level studios are gone, but somehow "Indies" have often staff of over 40 people including PR, HR, and marketing people  :-k  When people refer to Tim Schafer's studio as "indie" I think you see my point, or the behemoth for that matter.

To be considered a "homebrew" I would assume it's made in someones home, using tools they own with no real company structure behind them.

Again, a bunch of semantics and diction that has no barring on anything other that perception of these developers, which I think it ultimately overpowered and silly.

They also featured a game I gifted them at PRGE! That was cool to see.
