Opethian and I will be leaving Knoxville as early as we can Friday morning.  Its about a 9-10 hour drive... if we leave early enough, we might hit Chicago around 3-4pm and hopefully avoid some traffic.

we are going to leave so early we will get there at noon :D

You guys can swing by NJ and pick me up, thanks.

One week left before the show!

Also wanted to let you guys know that we'll be heading out to Connie's Pizza on Saturday night following the conclusion of Octurbofest. The address of the place is
19 W. Ogden Avenue
Westmont, IL 60559

So come grab a slice of pizza and let's talk some turbo. :)

Connie's Pizza is really good.  If you register on their website, they'll give you a coupon for a free pizza.  I need to go there more often.

I think the best pizza in Chicago is Lou Malnati's pizza.  http://www.loumalnatis.com/

The deep dish, butter crust is to die for.  =P~

Guys, their pizza is *almost* better than sex.  Almost.

Deep dish pizza is awesome, although I have never had pizza from Lou Malnati's. I wish there were a dine-in location closer to the arcade.

The past few years we have been gathering at Roundhead Pizza following the conclusion of the Video Game Summit. Their deep dish pizza is superb. They don't bury your pizza with cheese like they do at Giordano's.

Interesting. Could finally be my chance to experience the real Turbo hardware for the 1st time...count me in!  :D

Though I'm not able to stay long enough for the pizza. Oh well.

Eh, Lou Malnati's vary greatly in quality from location to location. For example, the one nearest to you and I in Carol Stream is awful. I think Gino's East is a bit better as far as chains go.

Malnati's is my favorite out of the chains, though honestly they're all pretty good and it's really just a matter of what you're in the mood for. Deep Dish is one of those things you eat once a year and get your fix and you don't want to eat it again for another year, haha.

Anybody up for Tilted Kilt or some other drinking establishment on Friday night?

I'll probably won't be arriving at the Red Roof until very late. 11 pm or so.

Nectarsis and I should be in probably around 8pm or 9pm to the Red Roof - maybe we can reserve a table or just figure out a meetup point at the hotel.

Will be showing up at just around kick off of Octurbofest with some chummers on Saturday.  Also got reservations at this Red Roof Inn in Downers Grove.  Should be an awesome time!!  We should do some sort of gaming party Saturday night at the hotel.

I'll have no car, so meeting at the hotel works for me.

So we'll grab a case and bring the party back to the hotel!
