Lol, I love those boxes for paper reams.  They are perfect for storing (not shipping) stuff, and those slide on lids are perfect if you need just a bit more space than the actual box allows.

I don't have a recent photo because my consoles have spread all throughout the house now. Though I have a room that is dedicated to just my classic games. But... the only photo I have right now is of my arcade games.

Wow nice! I really wish I had room for an arcade cabinet, or 20.

Still a work in progress and posted in the other thread on this topic, but here is the current state of my 32" Trinitron Wega, 4x 12" BIC F12 subs, and BIC PL-89II towers.  Sherlock Holmes is AMAZING on this.

All I can think of when i look at this is the fact that you probably sit a few feet from the TV and absolutely crank that system.

STATUS: I continue to be insanely jealous of entire rooms dedicated to video games.

That is all.

NO, I also wanted to say I love that Maxell ad! I remember that in the magazines. I used to buy Chrome and Metal tapes hoping they would sound better (my deck had a setting for chrome/metal, but I never really could tell if it made a difference).

TDK was nice, too. My favorite brand was Maxell, with their thick foil labels on the cassette itself. Very nice to look at, and could deflect shrapnel during a military attack on civilian population.

You should play The Adventures of Batman and Robin for the Genesis with those speakers.

Nice sound setup, TV seems a bit dwarfed by it all, though!

Funny story, relating to older systems, played really loud on certain speakers. About 10 years ago, I was playing through one of the Bomberman games, I can't recall if it was the first, 93, or 94. Anyway, it was at night, and not exactly loud, but louder than "Normal" volume, on something other than TV speakers.

I later heard a neighbor at the time could hear it, and thought it was Pac-man. It took a moment, but then I realized Bomberman also has a repetitive sound whenever you walk.
