Escarioth, what's the table normally used for?

It was left here this past chrismas...and since we didnt know what to do with it.. we put it in the basement thinking it be a nice place to hang out for boardgames or drink our souls out.

after quite a few parties here, i can say that this old table prooved to be a good thing to have around ill surely get a better looking one by the end of this year  8)

Those color changing LED things are nice. I have a strip, Sylvania Mosaic. I like it, because I can choose the length I want, and it's still interchangeable with the RGB LED strip stuff out there. I have in coiled under a sofa, so if I want light, I can use it. I have a bias light behind the TV on remote also, but that's not LED, it's an older fluorescent model, but it gives off a really nice white light (ISF approved, or something.).

The computer monitor has a bias light also, but it's the newer LED type, still only white light, though.

During Halloween, I will use the same color red, but on a RGB LED bulb that fits in a normal socket. I'll probably also be cranking out the window a Halloween sounds cassette at some point. I haven't done that, nor heard that, in many, many, many Halloweens.

Also, Escarioth, I notice it in your Red LED photo, but those cables on the floor, between the recliner and sofa, they're not always out there like that, waiting for people to trip over them, are they?

If so, get some cord channel. You can find 6ft rolls of it in the normal chain home improvement stores. Online also, but I had bad experience buying what seemed like, "Stale" cord concealer before.

Anyway, the good stuff, it's a rubbery plastic, cut the length you need, feel the cables into it, then you have something for the high traffic area, that will keep the cords for tripping a person. Also, (good) cord concealer is heavy, so it stays put.

Ah yes, those meddling cords  :-k we moved last year in this new house and the set up i made is rather diferent. so i ended up having those hanging around between 2 couch. Thanks for the info , ill look into this ...it be quite a disaster if my wife fell on the floor with our baby in her hands.

Here, I am including a link to what I use. Not this brand, but the type.

http://www.amazon.com/Wiremold-CDB-5-5-Feet-Corduct-Protector/dp/B000BVXVTK

I use this stuff in a few places around the house, where I either didn't want to/couldn't run something through a floor or wall, or it was a short run across a walkway. This stuff works fine on Carpet, Linoleum, Tile, Harwood, etc.

I recommend looking in a home improvement store, as it was cheaper there, last time I bought some.

Avoid the Belkin Brand. it's lighter than other brands, and is less flexible so it doesn't grab cords as well.
