Not buy much and enjoy what I have.  Finish games I started back in 94 or 95 and have yet to finish.  So basically start over on all my non finished RPG's

I'm going to beat Gimmick! on the Famicom, without using continues, and get the good ending. I'm almost there already, actually. I might make a little thread about it when I do.

By the way, if you are using an Everdrive N8, head over to Krikzz's forum. Somebody posted a homemade mapper-driver that enables the extra sound channels used in Gimmick. It's apparently quite accurate. Thank goodness, too, because one of the primary reasons why I got an N8 was to play this game on it.

That is awesome news!  I just got my N8 from the sale the other day and Gimmick was a game I wanted to play eventually.

My main resolution, pertinent to this forum:
Play the small stack of unfinished/unplayed PC-Engine games, and if I don't think they're super-duper, sell them on this forum for competitive prices and fast cash.

I'm looking at you, Motoroader MC, F1 Circus Special, and Travel Eple. You're on my danger-zone list. Not to mention a bunch of HuCards that didn't tickle my fancy (through my initial experiences via Ootake) like I thought they would.

Minor resolutions:
1CC the following: Cotton, L-Dis, Super Darius 1&2, Xevious, and Mystic Formula. Most of these games are easy, so that shouldn't be too hard a challenge.  :-"

I am curious about how you feel about MotoRoader MC. I haven't really made any progress in the game (single player). I have played it with 3-5 people, which was fun  (but we all sucked). Years ago, a few of us on the forum were trying to figure out how to use the (secondary?) weapons...any info you can provide on the power-up/weapon system in that game would be great.

Anyway, I always end up playing something else instead of MotoRoader MC...maybe I just suck, but it doesn't seem to be as immediately gratifying as Super Sprint and other related games...

Also, I was trying to figure out the lyrics for 1-2 of the tracks...gotta find the old thread...

I don't know if I can help with the song.

I need to pop in the disc again, but the powerups were handled quite poorly if I recall correctly: you have to double-tap forward to shoot a missile, and double-tap backward to lay a bomb.

This of course means sacrificing some of your momentum and direction...  :x
