I've all but given up on getting all the Saturn games I want at this point.  I've narrowed the list down to Hyper Duel, and maybe Leynos 2 & Night Striker S, then I'll have to call it quits for awhile with the collecting.  Sad, because the Saturn is my favorite console for arcade ports...it's just becoming too prohibitively expensive.

Didn't realize Bubble Symphony was for the Saturn. Man is it really worth $80? Hmmm

There is always Rhea or Phoebe (depending on which model you have).
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

That. Modchip / Pseudo Saturn / or even swap trick. Drives are super reliable and suitable replacement parts are easy enough to procure.

Screw resellers and collectards, no one should deny themselves the pleasure of trying some of these "gems".

I totally agree with this do not deny yourself the joy of Saturn games.  Modchip is super easy to install  and region free just requires a cart.

"Always"?  Aren't they out-of-stock currently?

I'll have to invest in something like that sometime soon.  There are many titles other than the ones I listed that I'd love to play, but it's just getting too damn expensive for me to own them.  Shame, too...I would have liked to own more stuff like PuLiRuLa, Elevator Action Returns, Battle Garegga, etc., but I'll have to limit myself to the three games I mentioned before, for my wallet's sake.

...actually...I may have to make an exception for Battle Garegga, too.  Dat VGM though...

Well, that's not what I meant by "always."

But yeah, getting one can be difficult.  I am using a GDEMU in my Dreamcast which I bought used off a friend for a good deal.  For the time being, I'm going with the mod chip and Action Replay cart in my Saturn, but I'm still considering a Rhea just for long term support since the disc drive won't last forever, and I only have one backup Saturn at the moment.

I've been very happy with the GDEMU, so I think it's safe to say I would enjoy the Rhea or Phoebe.

It is a very good game, and there is even a code to put the whole game in english, but I don't think so.  I think of the price I paid for it, and think that should be just around the ballpark of what the game should cost.  That being 35, I think its not fair that these ving titles are getting out of hand.

I been annoyed as well that every time I am thinking of getting a Rhea it is out of stock.  When I get a Rhea I will probably pick up a gray Saturn.

Anyway a tip I am using now guys is this.  Create a wordpress account and then subscribe to the site that creates the Rhea.  Every time any update happens at the site I get an email.  It's a little annoying but I will know the second the pre-order begins.

You can also invest in replacement lasers.  I bought about 10 of them in bulk from China to replace a number of busted units and they've been working fine so far.

I mainly go the modchip route right now since the new Universal chips are so nice and easy.

-  Does anyone have a weird obsession over Robo Pit?  I do.
-  When you get tired of the great SF Alpha 2, treat your friends to the much shittier SF: The Movie.  If you really want them to hate you, turn Criticom on.
- Blast Chamber is an unliked game, but it shouldn't be.  4 player is a...  blast.

Count me in on the above fandom. Robo Pit does have one of the worst soundtracks around, and the gameplay is nothing special, but I still enjoy the game and robots that you can build. When my Saturn memory cartridge died, losing my Robo Pit saves was one of the things which hit me hardest (next to my Daytona/Rally runs and my SimCity 2000 cities).

Blast Chamber, too, is a great party game, and SF: The Movie is good playing SF game despite its reputation. Next to Saturn Bomberman, Blast Chamber was one of the top games requested, even if it's just a giant shoving match.

Saturn is on the rise for sure. It is pretty expensive to start fresh. I have a few but not all I would want to play. I'm very interested in the USB mod.

This is likely the most fandom and longest discussion for either of these games on the entire internet.  I am legitimately excited someone else was ranking themself up in Robo Pit.

Most of the US games have definitely gone up in price which makes me sad I didn't really jump in on Saturn collecting when I had the chance. I bought Gungriffion for $6 complete back in 2013 and I'd be lucky to pay that much for just the disc these days. I dunno about Japanese imports though, I never really paid attention to the prices of those until recently since I foolishly bought a US console as my first Saturn and never invested in an Action Replay.

Prices for certain japanese games are cheaper such as panzer dragoon and panzer dragoon II.Often i suggest any one to just buy a pro action replay plus and ignore the u.s release.
