Game of the Month: July 2022 - Nexzr

NEXZR


It's shootin' time! Been wanting to get back to this one. I have yet to 1cc this and I sure would like to try. This is up there for me in regards for some of the best in shooting the pc-engine has to offer. The intro, the music, the design, I love it! It's got a decent difficulty that is satisfying but not overly hard and frustrating. It's not easy but for me it's the right amount of difficulty. Hope everyone else is up for this and can play it. If you have Summer Carnival 93 that will work as well. Some timed runs would be nice to see as well. Enjoy!

Woot, shewty fun.  Imma gonna have to download and burn this one.

Good choice!  This is one that I've been needing to put some time into.

Great STG, and the world knows it based on its' selling price :) This is good "burn and try" game. A few years ago I got confused with the Summer Carnival 93  and Alzadick so had a few hours on them to educate myself on the series. Nexzr definitely has the better presentation. I doubt I'll get a clear but I can at least play along with everyone.

I haven't had a lot of time to put into Nexzr and I've only made it to stage three so far. Check point shooters, man! Also, Valis has been bogarting a lot of my time these past two months :)
