Does Guitar hero output 480p?

If it doesn't, then it may have been patched in the newer firmware.  If it does, then it would be selectable (between 480i and 480p).

It would've been in December when I tried out a few PS2 games on my up to date PS3. I thought that Psychnonauts looked better too. Phantasy Star Universe didn't look as nice as I'd hoped, but I'd been playing the 360 version off and on for a year or so and ut still looks shaky on a PS2.

Although I don't have many 3D North American PS2 games, I'm going to compare them tonight if I remember.

I really like the crystal clear picture the PS3 provides for PS1 games though.

I do too, but I miss the fast loading option like on a PS2.  I wonder why they didn't include that?  Some games like Final Fantasy IX are just unbearable to play without fast loading.

Yeah I know everybody hates FFIX, my point is that the battles take forever to load without the PS2 fast loading, that game is the most extreme case I can think of.  It's literally like a 5-10 second difference.  I need to try Broken Sword too, that game had some horrendous load times.

I was fortunate enough to pick up a 60GB PS3.  I have it hooked up to my TV via HDMI and the PS2 games look fantastic upscaned to 1080i and with all of the jaggies are smoothed out.
