i used to put it on the pillow and lyed on the bed while playing. simple & stressless^^

I lie down on my back with the virtual boy lying on my face (stand resting on my chest).  It's quite comfortable...  (I might have fallen asleep once or twice).
Yeesh, wouldn't that give you black and red nightmares if you fell asleep with that thing?

I've only really spent good time with the VB at the MGC. It was set up on a table and I never really felt any kind of pain. To my suprise, it actually had some fun games.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

This guy called Kamino used to have a modded VB that had a weird custom stand that kinda functioned like the pole on a music stand.

I wish I could find the picture of it, it looked like it made playing the VB much easier.

The best place for a virtual boy (and, incidentally, the place where it will cause the least neck damage) is in the trash can.

How to do "actually play it without neck damage" from this position?  It sounds really painful to me to have to lean over than much to play the VB.

What if you could rig up a series of mirrors and lenses to make a VB projector?

btw. was ever someone into coding VB games? would be quite interessting to us the two indipendent perspective function, even just for some static 3D pictures :)

or just imagine, the VB is able to run digitized movies. so all you have to do is record a movie in two different angle and you will get real 3D movie.

Do you understand 3D?

Hey sold his 1,000+ game collection for drug money and moved to CALI :( . He did tell me on AIM though that California kinda sucks, so that's a good sign! He needs to get back to Wisconsin; Kamino just isn't Kamino without his Wisconsin pride.

Check out http://www.vr32.de/modules/news/ if you want to take a stab at VB development.  It has technical docs, emulator links, and a review of the VB flash cartridge.

The VB that I originally bought didn't come with the stand, so I had no choice but to lie on my bed with it.  It never gave me eyestrain or headaches, but yeah, I did get a bit of neck pain.

Anyone with a VB owes it to themselves to find a copy of the common and great Red Alarm.  Oh, and Vertical Force for the sake of loyalty to Hudson.   <--- red eyes from playing too much VB.

I would play my Virtual Boy more, but I need to get it modded for RGB.  I refuse to play anything in less than RGB.  That's how 1337 I am.

Goes to show how much of a lamer you are.  The VB is better than puny composite or RGB.  It's got R.  Just R.  Hardcore.

The 3D mode on metal gear acid is actually the best 3D I have ever seen in a game while we are on the side topic.  If you have not played the whole game and the movies in 3D, you have to try it sometime.  Actually with the wide screen of the PSP, I am suprised there isn't a more proper 3D viewing device for it.  It could have many games in full color 3D!

I have a great idea: throw the Virtual Boy on some other dood's neck while they're driving somewhere far away. That way, you'll never get exposed to it anymore.
